IWC Wood India Pvt. Ltd. trades in logs, timber, lumber and wooden products from commercial timber tree plantation. We manage the entire trade process from harvest to supplying raw timber as well as processed hardwood. The import share of timber in India is nearly 80%! Therefore, IWC strongly promotes domestic, sustainable agroforestry. This is also largely encouraged by the Indian government via various initiatives.

We trade exclusively in high quality hardwood from fully controlled, traceable commercial plantations. We do not trade wood from forest areas, as their traceability is limited / not possible. Therefore, we purchase wood from plantations that support inculcate natural processes such as oxygen, water and carbon cycles. We furthermore also ensure to especially support agroforestry concepts that provide additional benefits to the people in the growing regions through intercropping, if possible.

For our clients who purchase wood from us, it means that because we practice within the framework of the concept of "Grown in India", they directly contribute and promote environmental benefits, social components, sustainability, reduction of timber imports and other hugely positive aspects of sustainable wood growing and processing.

Ltd. was incorporated in 2020, is well integrated in the agro-forestry and wood business across India and continues to strengthen its network with sawmills, traders and manufacturers of various wooden products across India.
